So… how do we choose what makes it into your Bumibox?

We taste-test everything — and we mean everything.
Each snack must deliver what we call the "first-bite wow": that immediate hit of flavor that makes your eyes widen and your fingers reach for another.

We look for:

  • Depth of flavor (not just salty or sweet)

  • Balance — spicy but enjoyable, sweet but not cloying

  • Satisfying texture — crisp, crunchy, or chewy just right

Our favorite find? A sambal tempe chip that tastes like it was made in your grandma’s kitchen — spicy, earthy, and unforgettable.

🌶️ 2. Authentic + Bold = Perfect

We source snacks made using traditional Indonesian methods, often from small-batch producers on platforms like Tokopedia.
You’ll find flavors like:

  • Sanjai Balado – cassava chips drenched in sweet-hot chili

  • Keripik Tempe Sambal Ijo – earthy, fermented crunch with green chili

  • Mini Rempeyek – rice-flour crackers with peanuts and herbs

If it’s not authentically Indonesian, it doesn’t make the cut.
